My name is Erin Goetze and I am the owner and technician of Leading Edge Security and Home Technology which is a division of Goetze Enterprises, LLC. I have been in the Low Voltage industry since 1996, when I received my Associates Degree in Electronics from Ivy Tech. From there I worked at Indiana University Electronics Department for 12 years doing all sorts of electronics. My specialties included Security, Fire, Access Control, Intercoms and CCTV. Being in the Electronics Dept. brought a wide range of applications which allowed me to use and become proficient with many types of systems. Leading Edge was formed in 2009 and has been steadily growing. Most of my installs are Security Systems, Cameras Systems and Surround Sound Systems. I mount TV’s and install in-wall speakers and hide wiring quite frequently. In new homes I have run all the cable, phone, internet as well as security. In existing homes, I have retrofit data wiring but new technology is making it easier to utilize existing wiring in every home making it possible to have fast, secure wired ethernet where you need it.
